02What we process and the legal basis

Quotation enquiries — name, company, email, phone, message and attachments. Purpose: to answer the enquiry and prepare a quotation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Job applications — name, contact details and the content of your CV. Purpose: to assess your application. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and pre-contractual steps.

Cookie choice — stored only in your browser to remember your answer to the cookie notice. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); this single entry is strictly necessary for that function.

03How long we keep it

Only for as long as needed for the purpose above. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 12 months. Job applications are kept for up to 6 months unless you agree to a longer period. Data relating to a concluded contract is kept for the period required by Hungarian accounting and tax law.

04Who receives your data

Your data stays with Venterix. Our email is operated by a service provider acting as a data processor on our instructions. We do not sell or rent your data and use it for no advertising. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area; if that ever became necessary we would apply appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

05Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
• have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

06Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority — Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; naih.hu — or seek a remedy before the competent court.
